Guoming Sun,PhD

Dr. Sun received his doctoral degree from Cornell University, followed postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins University. Subsequently, he joined the Center for Craniofacial Regeneration at Columbia University in the City of New York. His research interests are primarily directed toward developing translational polymeric biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. As the founder of Sunogel Inc., the focus of his entrepreneurial endeavor is to develop pro-regenerative hydrogel scaffolds for scarless wound healing and skin regeneration. He is thrilled to translate basic research into clinical therapies.
